Capturing the Contemporary Conductor

This is a British Academy/Leverhulme Trust funded pilot project using high quality motion capture to investigate contemporary conducting technique. The focus of the pilot is on capturing high quality motion data from professional conductors using a variety of conducting techniques and making this available with synchronous multi-track audio and video recordings of the conductors and musicians.
