Modalys-ER (1997-2003) is a graphical editor for creating virtual acoustic instruments and generating simple performances with them (non-real time). It is based around IRCAM’s Modalys modal-modelling synthesis engine. MfOM is an Open Music version of the Modalys-ER interface. Both were developed in collaboration with IRCAM
